Jack Lee Award

Ken and Josie Pashulka and family

Ken and Josie Pashulka with their boys Tyson, Riley and Taylor are the proud recipients of the Jack Lee Award for 2007.

Josie purchased her first Maine Anjou in 1979 as her first 4-H heifer project.  Their herd consists of 36 cows -150 of which are purebred Maine Anjou, as well as purebred Limousin and Angus.  They use primarily all Maine Anjou bulls on their commercial black herd.  They annually market about 40 yearling bulls a year as well as have a female production sale in December.

Ken is a director on the Alberta Maine Anjou board and has been for a number of years.  They look forward to the fall when they show cattle at Stockade Round Up, Farmfair and Agribition.

Thank you to the Pashulka's for the energy and enthusiasm put into the Maine Anjou breed.
